About
Boris moved to Montreal in 2012 after obtaining a Master's degree in Science, Arts and Techniques of Image and Sound (Aubagne, France). He worked for 10 years in the equipment rental company MELS Studios where he perfected his skills as a camera technician. From 2018, his meticulousness and patience led him to focus exclusively on cinema lenses and zooms. His condensed training at Duclos Lenses (Chatsworth, Los Angeles) gave him in-depth knowledge and confirmed his determination to work in this field. Major brands such as Panavision, Zeiss, Cooke, Leitz , and many others passed through his skilled hands. He carried out complex repairs and offered original technical solutions. His expertise was refined over the years thanks to his desire for continuous training and his thirst for curiosity. In February 2024, Boris launched his independent optical technician project.
